WORD OF INSPIRATION:
GRACE AND MERCY AND
THANKSGIVING PYARER
HE IS RISEN: I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU COMFORTLESS
"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." John 14:18
Friends, greetings!! Once again, it is my pleasure to share a word of inspiration with you.
The scripture above reminds us of that very saddened period of the disciples lives. The end-time of JESUS' ministry on earth. HE sensed the pains and griefs of HIS little band of 12 and proceeded, as seen in this Chapter, to comfort and assure them that HE, had to go -- HE, needed to expediently go back to HIS father to be glorified; and in order to do so, it was imperative that HE finished the work which the GODHEAD had placed upon HIM. An extremely significant "mankind-saving assignment", which was about to be completed --
excruciatingly painful, though the end would be.
How about "you" my brethren. Are you laboring fervently on the "task" that your LORD has assigned you? Painful and tedious though it may be. We recall in Luke 12:42: the, "faithful and wise steward the Lord has made ruler over his household." The scripture goes on to say in the next verse, "Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when he cometh shall find so doing." Luke 12:43.
I encourage you today, "faithful Steward" in CHRIST, be as that "faithful servant" the LORD shall find diligently laboring in the vineyard, making ready the fruits for harvest. Yes, we know, the "vineyards/wheat fields are white and the laborers a quite few". Nevertheless, HE has promised in the above scripture, HE will not leave you comfortless, but will come again. So, my brethren in the LORD, keep the faith; and, "look up, and lift your heads: for your redemption draweth nigh." Luke 21:28.
HE IS RISEN
And come again, HE did, as we read in the scriptures. HE IS RISEN. Yes, beloved, we serve a RISEN LORD. Mary Magdalene, being the first to be told by the angel, "... Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: HE is risen; HE is not here ... ." Mark 16:6.
We, the children of the CROSS, know with a bold assurance that we serve a RISEN SAVIOUR. He appeared to HIS disciples on many occasions before HIS ascension. As children of the CROSS we do not have to be told this by any unclean or deceptive spirit, because we know; and in faith believing live under and are guided by the power of HIS resurrected SPIRIT.
Prior to HIS ascension, HE broke bread with HIS disciples, and blessed them with HIS peace. In HIS resurrected body, HE would appear and reappear to them unexpectedly; and bless them with HIS presence and greet them with HIS, "Peace be unto you..." John 20:21.
Before instructing them in HIS divine will for their lives, he upbraided them for their unbelief. He did this because HE was a witness to their conversation and journeyed with them on the Road to Emmaus. As they walked, they recounted to HIM the events that had recently taken place, concerning Jesus of Nazareth. They had absolutely know knowledge of whom HE was for the greater part of the journey. "What manner of communication are these that ye have one to another?" However, as they drew closer to their destination, HE asked them, "... Ought not CHRIST to have suffered these things, and to enter into HIS glory?" Then HE chastened them for being, "... slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken...".
Luke 24:25-26.
Brethren, let us learn from the experiences of our "foundation apostles" through the teachings of our SAVIOUR. Continue to be steadfast in faith-believing. Whenever your faith is shaken run to the ROCK and lean on HIM for support. "For in the time of trouble HE shall set me up upon a rock." Psalm 27:5. To quench your thirst, go to the well, and drink of the living water HE offered to the woman of Samaria. "... a well of water springing up into everlasting life." John 4:4. And, if hungry, we can feast on the bread of life which cometh down from heaven and giveth life unto the world -- the true bread as HE told us, " This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die." John 6:50. These principles of CHRIST will, without doubt, steadfast our walk according to HIS divine will.
As HE gave instructions to the "foundation apostles", so too HE gives to us. We simply have to, "Be still and know that I am GOD ..." Psalm 46:10. As we walk in obedience, HE will bestow upon us the same power HE endowed the disciples with to work HIS sovereign will within our lives. He said it to them and it is meant for entire BODY OF CHRIST. "... behold, I send the promise of my FATHER upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with the power from on high." Luke 24:49.

THE MERCIES OF GOD
The prophet Jeremiah in Lamentations 3:22-23 said, "It is of the Lord's mercies we are not consumed. Because HIS compassion fails not. They are new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness."
########################################################
The Psalmist David in Psalm 66:19-20 said, "But verily GOD hath heard me; HE hath attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be GOD, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor HIS mercy from me."
#########################################################
The Psalmist David in Psalm 100: 5 said, "For the LORD is good; HIS mercy is everlasting; and HIS truth endureth to all generations."

My Dear Friends: When we stop and prayerfully and earnestly meditate on the infinite mercies of GOD, as sinners saved by GRACE, we have to admit that we are children of a loving GOD. As the psalmist says, if GOD should judge us according to our sins, none would stand. This is why we too, like the prophet Jeremiah, and the Psalmist David, should mourn for our sinful states and glorify GOD, daily, for his loving-kindnesses and infinite mercies toward us; and do not, I repeat, never forget to send up praises and heartfelt thanks unto our loving ABBA FATHER for HIS unconditional love poured upon, us sinners, saved by GRACE. What a compassionate, merciful and forgiving GOD we serve. Blessed be the GOD OF HEAVEN. AMEN, AMEN AND AMEN. Selah!! Selah!! Selah!!
